A favourite after years
I bought my second Thamon wallet in 2021. The first one was with an older design and didnt last as long, but i loved the material and wanted to try again. Now after about 5 years, this second one is slowly starting to fall apart. For an object as heavily used as a wallet, and i haven't been soft with it, thats a good duration. And it's still working fine, just some of the softer faux leather parts between the leaf optics are coming apart at the edges and seams, so its mostly an optical consideration.
The front and back covers are as beautiful as on day one, the little emblem holds fast. I've been carrying approx 10 cards and a thick paper ticket at all times and they've been safe and sound for the whole ride. The button for the change-pocket still works. All in all i feel its a very well thought through design and strong materials used. It's an object to use and to love using.
